We will then overland towards the most important imperial cities in morocco, Fez being one of the most ancient cities in the world, and walk through its 9000 alleyways. Meknes famous for its Volubilis Site- the UNESCO world heritage.

Next the great adventure has finally arrived, the Sahara desert. An unforgettable experience of the camel riding in the desert dunes, towards the nomadic tents, share their everyday life, their meals, and feel how this harsh nature challenges their lives. You will wake up at an early bird to watch the sunrise, in the evening you will wait for the most beautiful sunset to watch,and be amazed by its colors. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Marrakech Airport

Arrive to Marrakech Airport where our representative meets you to take you to your Hotel / Riad 1/2 day City tour in Marrakech visit of Yve Saint Laurent Gardens and the berber Museum, Mederssa ben youssef, and the Marrakech museum, we will walk through the narrow streets of the old Medina to reach the famous lively Jamaa el fna square where we will have diner.

Day 2Departure to Rabat

Rabat: Today we will travel to the city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco, after our check in to the hotel we will have lunch in a nice local restaurant, then start our visit to the unfinished Hassan tower and the Mausole of the King Mohammed V, feel the spirituality of the place, and enjoy the art of the Moroccan handicraft. This evening will be at leisure prior to a special Moroccan diner.

Day 3Rabat: The ruins of Chellah, Kasbah Oudaya, and the museums

Rabat-Chellah: After a lunch break we will visit the famous ruins of Chella where two Histories meet and rest in peace, Followed by the visit to the Kasbah of Oudaya, and enjoy a walk in the narrow streets of the old medina. After a nice lunch the afternoon will mainly be for discovering the most important museums in Rabat (The museum of contemporary art, the museum of archeology, and the currency museum).

Day 4 Meknes / Fes

Meknes – Fes: Be ready for the most historical and cultural part of the trip starting with the imperial city of Meknes, visit the ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO world heritage) the most important Roman site in Morocco. The afternoon will be the visit to the sightseeing of Meknes, the majestic Bab el Mansour, Bab El khamis and the legendary royal stables of Mly Ismail; this sultan was so fond of horses that he built a stable to house 12000 horse. We will leave Meknes towards Fes where we spend the night in our Riad, discover the beauty of these Moroccan Riads turned into a guest house and have the best Moroccan food generously prepared and served.

Day 5The holy city of Fes

Fes: After a special Moroccan breakfast we will start our discovery to the oldest and the holiest city in Morocco – Fes. Used to be the torch that enlightened the world with knowledge, philosophy, science, medicine, economy, and religion. Our local guide will take us to explore the 9000 alley ways of Fes El Bali a tour in history watching the different crafts man working in the souks, the narrow streets of the old markets, the leather tanneries, the Mellah or the Jewish Quarter / The Palais Royale / and finally the panoramic view of Fez . We will also enjoy the evening in our Riad enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and particularity of these guest houses.

Day 6Overland to Midelt

Midelt :Today we will depart towards the south we will pass by The little Swiss Moroccan city of ‘’Irfan’’ take a coffee break, some nice pictures, and continue our way passing by the beautiful views of the middle Atlas mountains to Midelt where we will have our lunch, time to rest in our Hotel / Kasbah and also discover one of the most important sites in this charming city, ‘’Kasbah Meriam’’ famous for its workshop of weaving created in 1922 by a wife of a French officer, and later on developed and organized by the Franciscan sisters, to help the Berber local women of the city. The workshop is an opportunity to discover the weaving, the broderie and carpet making culture in Morocco. We spend our night in this peaceful city.

Day 7Overland to Merzouga > Desert

Erfoud – Merzouga: Today you should be prepared for the great adventure of the trip – the desert. We cross some of the most beautiful scenery of the desert .Once we reach the pretty Erfoud we will take you to one of the main attractions in this area, and a discovery the fossils, you will see how the artisans turn the fossils into a piece of jewelry or even a home decoration or furniture.

After lunch in Erfoud we head straight to Merzouga by 4×4 through Rissani, towards the desert Dunes. En route we will pass by an endless plantation of palm trees and we arrive to a breathtaking landscapes of the desert. We finally arrive to our camp, we will be served a nice mint tea with dates by the Nomades. After a break we go to explore the desert dunes with the unforgettable camel riding activity. We will watch the most beautiful sunset view in the desert of Merzouga / Take pictures and go back on our camels to our tents enjoy the stargazing experience, followed by a nice diner by the campfire in the desert near our tents and discover the silence of the desert.

Day 8The desert (riding camels on dunes and the sunset/rise)

Merzouga: An early bird rise, in order not to miss a sunrise in the desert. After an enjoyable breakfast near the dunes in our tents, we will go on a oasis discovery, then to a nomadic family, and see how this harsh nature is challenging their everyday life. Discover their way of life from making the desert bread, the food and the making of the tents, and how they grow vegetation and palm trees in the desert. After lunch we will be enjoying a free afternoon, enjoying more time to either walk on the dunes, take extra hours camel riding or simply enjoy the pretty sun setting view. Our diner will be celebrating this great discovery by the campfire under the very close millions of stars.

Day 9Departure to Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate: Get ready for Ouarzazate,have breakfast and will leave the pretty desert by 4×4 towards Erfoud then to Ouarzazate, passing by the Dades valley,to watch the irrigation system for Palm trees of El khettarat ( Canals ) We will arrive to the beautiful Kasbah where we have our lunch and visit a private museum full of local berber art, history and culture. We continue our way to the famous Kasbah Of Ait Benhaddou ( The UNESCO world Heritage ) Visit of one of the Ouarzazate most famous movie studios.Diner will be in our Hotel.

Day 10Overland to Marrakech

Marrakech: We will be crossing the most complicated roads of Tichka, leaving the desert nature behind to embrace a completely different one towards Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Arrival to the Red city of Marrakech where we will have lunch in a riad,after a rest we will start our city tour to the Bahia palace, Saadian tombs , the Koutoubia Mosque and the souks of Jamaa El Fna Square, where we will have our diner.

Day 11A day In the high Atlas mountains

After breakfast, we will take you to the most attractive valleys in Morocco “Ourika Valley”, beautiful landscapes, and great mountain sceneries around, where you will discover the Berber villages, all built in clay and greatly hanging to the mountains, you will have the opportunity to visit a berber family, and discover how they lead their everyday life, starting from the baking of bread process, cooked in the traditional oven made of clay , to the carpet making by women, and oil producing activity…etc. We will then have a nice berber meal (berber tagine ) by the pretty valley of Ourika.

We will gradually continue our discovery through the most colorful landscapes of the high Atlas and climb to the seven waterfalls. Connected to Ourika valley is setti Fatma village in which we will enjoy a tea time break, you may enjoy a few minutes camel riding around, and then will visit the pretty lake of Lalla Takerkoust to take some precious pictures .Back to Marrakech where we will have our farewell diner in a Restaurant by the famous square.

Day 12Departure back home

Marrakech : Breakfast in the hotel. Our agents will take care of your departure to the Airport accordingly. End of the Trip.
