In every neighborhood in Morocco there is a local hammam , and the tradition is to go to the hammam once a week , and every hammam is divided into two identical separate sections, one for men the other for women, the Hammam stays as a social place in the Moroccan culture; and it’s rituals are the same for both sexes.
The first thing you start with is to go the interior hot room, which means to use the heat of this room to help open the skin pores, with the help of the black soap, which is used to envelope your body and helps your skin to hydrate .Before the second step
Second step is to go the the second room (warm) where you scrub your body with a special glove or a loofah, the aim is to get rid of the old skin and releases all the toxins. then comes the last step to rinse and clean your hair , when you go to the cold room you use your shower gel as usual then you come up with a clean and new skin, you will feel a special sensation as if it is the first time you have a bath in your life.
